A Bit About Me

I got a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from UC Berkeley and spent two years working at Zymergen, a start-up in the biotechnology space. Here, I found a love for programming while I used automation and software to help solve problems in the Agricultural space.

I got my fundamentals by going to HackBright Academy's full-stack web development bootcamp during weeknights and weekends. Here, I developed and deployed my first full-stack web application using a PostgreSQL database, Flask app server, and a React front end. Check out the project repo here!

After graduating, I had a brief stint working as a Solutions Engineer at Datadog. Here, I learned how to serve techinical customers and became exposed to the joys and struggles of DevOps.

Today, I am a back-end engineer on the Platform team at CarGurus within the Autolist brand. I spend my time interfacing with stakeholders, design and building APIs, building internal systems, and building infrastructure on demand.

I also volunteer as a Developer to ShelterTechSF; we work to help connect individuals experiencing homelessness to resources in the SF area. (Please reach out if you are interested in volunteering!)
